Although you may be still living in the house, keeping spaces neat and clear provides a good first impression. You want your house to look and feel more spacious and inviting, a big plus for potential buyers.
Here is a list of things to keep in mind when clearing items for 'staging' purposes. After all, you want avoid distracting buyers from the house itself.

Exercise Equipment
Books
Artwork
Toys
Pet beds and Toys/Cat Towers
Photos on display
Hooks and Coat racks
Have a look around your home, are all the bench spaces and table tops clear? Is there minimal appliances on display in the kitchen and bathrooms? Does the entry way have a clear line of sight to the rest of the home? All these factors can help intrigue buyers to explore more.
